Emmanuel Places 103 Student-Athletes on Great Northeast Athletic Conference Academic Team

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced Monday that 1,555 student-athletes from the GNAC, 103 of whom are from Emmanuel, have been named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, following the 2023-24 academic year.

Class of 2024 Emmanuel College Athletics Senior Awards Announced

BOSTON - On Monday, May 13, 2024, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2024 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 20 awards were presented as 17 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

Pope, Grijalva, Snowden Post All-Conference Honors, Kelly Named to Sportsmanship Team

WINTHROP, Mass. – Saints seniors Donte Pope (Middletown, Conn.) and Ryan Grijalva (Stratham, N.H.), as well as first-year Cameron Snowden (Franklin Park, N.J.), were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Second Team, Third Team, and Rookie Team, respectively, as announced by the GNAC Office on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Men's Basketball Knocked Out of GNAC Postseason With 74-73 Loss at Saint Joseph's (ME)

STANDISH, Maine – With the final possession of their season, a buzzer-beating attempt by the Saints hit off the front rim and bounced out as the buzzer rang, resulting in the Emmanuel men’s basketball season ending following a 74-73 loss at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine on Tuesday night in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinal round.

No. 6 Men's Basketball Starts Postseason Run at No. 3 Saint Joseph's (ME)

BOSTON – A loss in the season finale dropped the Emmanuel men’s basketball team down to 12-13 (8-6 GNAC) this year, moving them to the No. 6 seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Playoffs. Hitting the road for their opening round GNAC Playoff game for the first time since 2017, the Saints travel North to the No. 3 seeded Saint Joseph’s College Monks (16-9, 12-2 GNAC) for a Tuesday, Feb. 22, game at 7:00 p.m. on Mike McDevitt Court.
