BOSTON – A combination of three student-athletes from the Emmanuel men’s volleyball program, two members of the men’s lacrosse program, and one player from the men’s golf program have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Selections to the CSC Academic All-District Team®, as announced by the CSC on June 25.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced Monday that 1,555 student-athletes from the GNAC, 103 of whom are from Emmanuel, have been named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, following the 2023-24 academic year.

BOSTON - On Monday, May 13, 2024, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2024 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 20 awards were presented as 17 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

SOUTHWICK, Mass. - Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) turned in his seventh top-five finish of the 2023-24 season, and after a 7-over round of 79, became the single-season record holder for lowest season scoring average in program history, all while helping lead the Saints to a fifth-place finish at the season-ending Elms College Invitational at The Ranch Golf Club.

WENHAM, Mass. - Playing in their second event of the spring schedule, Emmanuel Saints men's golf finished in third place in the Gordon College Shootout, hosted at Wenham Country Club. The Saints shot 308 in the event, but due to the Par 65 layout of Wenham CC, the length and par of the course does not meet the minimums for the NCAA.

WARWICK, R.I. - Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) became the first player in team history to shoot an 18-hole round of even-par, carding a 72 (E), to set a new 18-hole program scoring record, all while claiming his second career medalist honors and leading the Saints golf team to a second place finish on Saturday at the Rhode Island College Invitational at Valley Country Club.

DORCHESTER, Mass. – For the first time in over seven years, the Emmanuel College men’s golf program claimed first place as a team, defeating Dean and Elms on Friday afternoon at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park.

HAMDEN, Conn. – Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) made program history on Tuesday afternoon, finishing the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championship with a two-day total of 18-over-par (158), finishing T3 and becoming the first Emmanuel men’s golfer to be named to an All-Conference First or Second Team as a result of finishing inside the top 10.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The two-day Great Northeast Athletic Conference Golf Championship starts Monday as the Emmanuel Saints men’s golf program sets out to take on New Haven Country Club in this year’s GNAC Championship. The Saints were recently voted sixth in the pre-tournament coaches poll, with host school Albertus Magnus taking the top spot in the voting.

GROTON, Conn. – Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) shot a round of 5-over, 76, claiming medalist honors at the Mitchell Invite III on Thursday afternoon at Shennecossett Golf Course. The first-place finish is the first individual win of Reynold’s collegiate career.

HINGHAM, Mass. – Saints first-year Ryan Brunet (Peabody, Mass.) and junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) turned in a pair of top-10 finishes on Thursday afternoon at the EC Invite, hosted by South Shore Country Club.

HINGHAM, Mass. – Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) fell one shot shy of medalist honors on Wednesday afternoon at the Saints Invitational while the home-side Saints finished in third as a team in the event.

ORANGE, Vt. – Saints senior Connor Maguire (Old Lyme, Conn.) turned in his best round of the early season, shooting a 7-over, 78, on Friday afternoon at the Tony Mariano Golf Invitational, hosted by Norwich University at the Country Club of Barre.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) matched his career-best round, turning in a card of 4-over par, 75, helping the Emmanuel golf team to a third-place finish on Tuesday afternoon at the Mitchell Invite II at Shennecossett Golf Course.
