BOSTON – A combination of three student-athletes from the Emmanuel men’s volleyball program, two members of the men’s lacrosse program, and one player from the men’s golf program have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Selections to the CSC Academic All-District Team®, as announced by the CSC on June 25.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced Monday that 1,555 student-athletes from the GNAC, 103 of whom are from Emmanuel, have been named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, following the 2023-24 academic year.

BOSTON - On Monday, May 13, 2024, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2024 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 20 awards were presented as 17 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Emmanuel men's volleyball sophomore Michael Shelley (San Francisco, Calif.) picked up another award for his breakout sophomore season after being recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on the All-America Honorable Mention list, as announced on Monday, April 22, by the organization. Shelley becomes just the second Saints men's volleyball student-athlete in program history to be recognized for any AVCA All-America Honor, joining Curtis Abram ('11), who made the All-American Second Team in his senior season of 2011.

WINTHROP, Mass. - A trio of Saints were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Volleyball All-Conference Teams on Tuesday afternoon, as announced by the GNAC Office. Sophomore Michael Shelley (San Francisco, Calif.) was named to the GNAC First Team, fellow sophomore Trey Guest (Newington, Conn.) was voted to the GNAC Second Team, and junior Louis Da Silva (Marseilles, France) was named to the GNAC Third Team and represented the Saints on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Saints sophomore outside hitter Michael Shelley (San Francisco, Calif.) has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region 1 team, as announced by the organization on April 15. Shelley becomes the first Emmanuel men's volleyball player in 13 years to be recognized by the AVCA for any postseason honor.

BOSTON – The Emmanuel Saints men's volleyball team is back in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference semifinals for the first time since 2019, as they prepare to face the No. 1 seed in the GNAC Playoffs and the No. 3 ranked team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III poll, the Wentworth Institute of Technology Leopards, on Thursday night with a spot in the GNAC Championship Game at stake.

BOSTON - Seeking their first trip to the conference championship in 10 years, the Emmanuel Saints men's volleyball playoff run in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has come to an end following a straight sets loss (25-18, 25-17, 25-16) to the No. 1 GNAC seed and No. 3 ranked team in Division III, the Wentworth Leopards, on Thursday night in the GNAC Semifinal Round at Tansey Gymnasium.

BOSTON – After two tightly contested sets, Saints Men’s Volleyball (17-9, 9-5 GNAC) pulled away in the third to secure a 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-18) victory over Regis (10-19, 5-9 GNAC) in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament quarterfinal Tuesday night on Andy Yosinoff Court.

BOSTON – For a third consecutive season, the Emmanuel Saints men’s volleyball team hosts a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal match, after locking up the No. 4 seed in the postseason after finishing the year 16-9 (9-6 GNAC). Awaiting the Saints is the No. 5 seed Regis College Pride, who enter quarterfinal play at 10-18 (5-9 GNAC) this season.

NEWTON, Mass. - Emmanuel men's volleyball ended its regular season in defeat, breaking up a four-game winning streak on Saturday, falling in straight sets to the Lasell Lasers (25-21, 25-22, 25-16), in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Lasell University Athletics Center.

BOSTON – In their final match of the regular season inside the Jean Yawkey Center, the Emmanuel College Men’s Volleyball team (16-8, 9-4 GNAC) rolled past Emerson College (4-15, 2-9 GNAC) in straight sets on Tuesday night. The sets were won 25-22, 25-19, and 25-18 en route to a fourth consecutive victory for the Saints in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) competition.

CHICOPEE, Mass. - For a second straight season Emmanuel men's volleyball will host a conference playoff game after clinching a hosting spot in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference playoffs with a straight sets sweep over the Elms Blazers (25-16, 25-11, 26-24) on Saturday morning in GNAC play at Picknelly Arena. Although their final seeding in the GNAC Postseason Tournament is still unknown, Emmanuel clinched a top-four seed in the upcoming playoffs with two matches to go in their regular season.

WINTHROP, Mass. – Saints junior Louis Da Silva (Marseille, France) and sophomores Michael Shelley (San Francisco, Calif.) and Dominic DeFerrari (Miami, Fla.) were all recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) this week after being named the GNAC Defensive Player, Offensive Player, and Setter of the Week, respectively, as announced by the GNAC Office on March 25.

BOSTON - The Emmanuel College men's volleyball team (14-8, 7-4 GNAC) rolled to their second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) sweep of Dean College (3-13, 0-9 GNAC) in the last eight days on Tuesday night in the Jean Yawkey Center. The Saints won the sets 25-17, 25-13, and 25-17 en route to their sixth victory in the month of March.

BOSTON – A first match win for Lasell, a second match win for Rivier, and a third match win for Emmanuel concluded a tri-match Saturday with the Lasers, Raiders, and Saints, all finishing 1-1 against each other, tightening the already close playoff battle among these three teams, following a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match on Saturday at the Jean Yawkey Center.
