Softball Earns Sunday Senior Day Sweep of Norwich
BOSTON – The Emmanuel College softball team (16-12, 9-1 GNAC) earned a Senior Day sweep of Norwich (4-12, 2-10 GNAC) on Sunday afternoon at Clemente Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The Saints used an eight-run first inning in game one to tally a 13-0 (F/5) victory and another eight-run inning, this time in the second, to take game two, 15-2 (F/5).

Chelak Homers in Both Games as Softball Sweeps Regis
BOSTON – Taylor Chelak (Westborough, Mass.) homered in each game to help lead the Emmanuel College softball team (14-12, 7-1 GNAC) to two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) wins over Regis (7-19, 2-8 GNAC) on Saturday at Clemente Field. The Saints tallied 25 hits and 24 runs over the twin bill, winning the first game 13-0 (F/5) and the second game 11-2 (F/5).

Softball Splits Tuesday Twin Bill at Wheaton After 3-2 Win in Game Two
NORTON, Mass. - Emmanuel Saints softball battled to a split of Tuesday's doubleheader against Wheaton after dropping the first game 3-0, the Saints took the win in game two, 3-2, in non-conference play at Clark Softball Field. The Saints have split or won both games of a doubleheader in their last five series, dating back to losses against Wentworth on April 2.

Martineau's Offensive Output Nets First Career GNAC Rookie of the Week Honor
WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints first-year Alexis Martineau (Merrimack, N.H.) had one of her best weeks as a Saint, batting .429 over six games, resulting in the rookie outfielder being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on April 15.

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier softball team hosted Emmanuel (Mass.) in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on Raider Diamond on Saturday evening. The Raiders won game one on a walk-off before dropping game two, 6-3, to split with the Saints.

BOSTON – Emmanuel softball split a non-conference doubleheader against the Suffolk University Rams on Wednesday evening at Clemente Field, winning game one, 5-1, before dropping game two in extra innings, 6-4.

BOSTON – The Saints tallied 22 hits and allowed just one run as the Emmanuel College softball team (9-7, 2-0 GNAC) completed a two-game sweep over Anna Maria (8-10, 0-2 GNAC) in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Sunday afternoon at Clemente Field. Emmanuel took the first contest of the day 4-0 before an offensive explosion led to a 9-1 (F/5) victory in game two for a strong start to the conference season.

Saints Softball Wins Home Opener vs. UMass Boston, 8-5
BOSTON – Following a 16-day layoff between games, Emmanuel Saints softball returned to action, claiming an 8-5 win in their home opener, against UMass Boston on Monday evening at Clemente Field. Emmanuel and UMass Boston opted to play a single game in lieu of the traditional doubleheader, after temperatures outside on Monday night dipped well below freezing.

Saints Drop Final Two Games In Florida to Mount Union and Allegheny
CLERMONT, Fla. – Emmanuel College Softball (3-6) dropped their final two games at THE Spring Games in Florida on Friday afternoon. In the first matchup, the Saints were edged by Mount Union (9-1), 2-0. A late-inning offensive surge from Allegheny (9-0) powered the Gators past Emmanuel, 5-0, in game two.

Saints Beat Wittenberg Via Marks' Shutout in Game One, Fall to Westminster (PA) in Game Two
CLERMONT, Fla. – Saints Softball (3-4) earned a win over Wittenberg (6-5) but fell to Westminster (PA) (3-4) in a doubleheader at THE Spring Games in Florida on Thursday. In game one, Emmanuel rode a shutout pitching performance from Madison Marks (Edgewater Park, N.J.) to a 3-0 victory. A fifth inning offensive surge from Westminster (PA) was enough to down the Saints, 8-5, in the second game of the day.

Saints Suffer Loss to No. 1 Trine in Game One, Defeated in Extra Innings by Penn State Brandywine in Game Two
LEESBURG, Fla. – Saints Softball (2-3) dropped a doubleheader on Wednesday in their third play-date at THE Spring Games in Florida. In the first game, the nation’s top ranked team, the Trine Thunder (6-1), defeated the Saints 10-0 (F/5). After falling behind 7-0 to Penn State Brandywine (5-3) in the second game, the Saints came all the way back to send the game to extra innings but fell 8-7 (F/8).
