WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced Monday that 1,555 student-athletes from the GNAC, 103 of whom are from Emmanuel, have been named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, following the 2023-24 academic year.

BOSTON - The junior trio of Sammy Hayes (Braintree, Mass.), Madison Marks (Edgewater Park, N.J.), and Amanda Penney (Warwick, R.I.) have all been named to the College Sports Communicators (formally CoSIDA) Division III Softball Academic All-District Team®, as announced by the CSC on May 28.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced Tuesday afternoon that seniors Olivia Conti (Cranston, R.I.) and Emma Crisafulli (Loudonville, N.Y.), juniors Taylor Chelak (Westborough, Mass.) and Madison Marks (Edgewater Park, N.J.), and first-year Alexis Martineau (Merrimack, N.H.) have all been voted to a GNAC All-Conference Team, following the 2024 season.

NEWTON, Mass. – Facing elimination in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Postseason this morning, No. 2 North seed Emmanuel softball moved along in the loser’s bracket with a 4-2 win in nine innings, over No. 4 South seed Albertus Magnus on Taylor Field. The loss for the Falcons eliminated them from Pod B play.

NEWTON, Mass. – In the second-longest game in Emmanuel softball’s last 20 years, an RBI single in the top of the 11th by Simmons College sophomore Piper Kinney (Marlborough, Mass.) ended a two-day, Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pod B game on Friday, 2-1 in favor of Simmons, at Taylor Field at Lasell University.

BOSTON – Emmanuel Softball opens up the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Postseason as the No. 2 seed in the North Division and, in the newly formatted postseason, starts play in Pod B on Thursday afternoon against the No. 3 North-seeded Simmons Sharks, hosted by Lasell University at 4:30 p.m.

HENNIKER, N.H. – The Emmanuel College softball team concluded their 2024 regular season with a split in their doubleheader against New England College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Sunday at Old Concord Road Field. Trailing for most of game one, the Pilgrims rallied to prevail 6-5 in extra innings before falling short in game two, 10-0.

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph’s College and Emmanuel College split a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) North Division softball doubleheader at Richard W. Bailey Field on Saturday afternoon. The Saints won the first game, 2-0, and the Monks rallied to win the nightcap, 5-4.

BRIGHTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College softball (18-12, 11-1 GNAC) traveled to rival Simmons (12-21, 8-6 GNAC) and swept the Sharks in a Wednesday doubleheader in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) North Division action on Daly Field.

WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints junior Taylor Chelak (Westborough, Mass.) was an offensive force this past week, helping the Saints to a 5-1 record over six games while being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on Monday afternoon.

BOSTON – The Emmanuel College softball team (16-12, 9-1 GNAC) earned a Senior Day sweep of Norwich (4-12, 2-10 GNAC) on Sunday afternoon at Clemente Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The Saints used an eight-run first inning in game one to tally a 13-0 (F/5) victory and another eight-run inning, this time in the second, to take game two, 15-2 (F/5).

BOSTON – Taylor Chelak (Westborough, Mass.) homered in each game to help lead the Emmanuel College softball team (14-12, 7-1 GNAC) to two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) wins over Regis (7-19, 2-8 GNAC) on Saturday at Clemente Field. The Saints tallied 25 hits and 24 runs over the twin bill, winning the first game 13-0 (F/5) and the second game 11-2 (F/5).

NORTON, Mass. - Emmanuel Saints softball battled to a split of Tuesday's doubleheader against Wheaton after dropping the first game 3-0, the Saints took the win in game two, 3-2, in non-conference play at Clark Softball Field. The Saints have split or won both games of a doubleheader in their last five series, dating back to losses against Wentworth on April 2.

WINTHROP, Mass. - Saints first-year Alexis Martineau (Merrimack, N.H.) had one of her best weeks as a Saint, batting .429 over six games, resulting in the rookie outfielder being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the GNAC Office on April 15.

BOSTON – Emmanuel softball improved to 11-11 (5-1 GNAC) after claiming a pair of run-rule wins on Sunday afternoon, sweeping a Great Northeast Athletic Conference doubleheader with Elms College (3-21, 0-6 GNAC) on Clemente Field.

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier softball team hosted Emmanuel (Mass.) in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on Raider Diamond on Saturday evening. The Raiders won game one on a walk-off before dropping game two, 6-3, to split with the Saints.
