Saints Golf Competes at Gordon College Shootout on Saturday

WENHAM, Mass. - Playing in their second event of the spring schedule, Emmanuel Saints men's golf finished in third place in the Gordon College Shootout, hosted at Wenham Country Club. The Saints shot 308 in the event, but due to the Par 65 layout of Wenham CC, the length and par of the course does not meet the minimums for the NCAA.

Saints junior Ian Reynolds (East Haven, Conn.) led the Saints, shooting 7-over par, 72, good for a tie for eighth. First-year Ryan Brunet (Peabody, Mass.) was one shot more, carding a 73 for the Saints, placing him in 10th for the day. Sophomore Diego Serra (New Bedford, Mass.) finished at 81 while senior Connor Maguire (Old Lyme, Conn.) shot an 82.

The Saints have one match remaining in their spring campaign, traveling to the Elms College Classic on Saturday, April 27, hosted at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Mass. Tee times for the event start at 10:00 a.m.
