STRONG BENCH OUTING FUELS 94-73 MEN'S BASKETBALL WIN OVER RIVIER
NASHUA, N.H. - The Emmanuel College men's basketball team used 63 points off the bench to top Rivier University, 94-73, Saturday afternoon in non-conference road action at the Muldoon Center. The Raiders fall to 1-6 on the season while the Saints climb above .500 at 4-3 and surpass last season's win total.

The Raiders fall to 1-6 on the season while the Saints climb above .500 at 4-3 and surpass last season's win total.
Emmanuel saw three student-athletes finish with double-digit afternoons as senior Joe Tamburro (South Windsor, Conn.) led the charge with a season-high 31 on 10-of-15 shooting including seven field goals from long range. Junior Emmett Riddick (Middletown, Conn.) and freshman Anthony Davidson (Annapolis, Md.) were the other two Saints to record double-digits as they totaled 18 and 14, respectively. Senior Isaiah Ruffen (Haverhill, Mass.) pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with his four points in the win.
Rivier junior Nate Hale (Nashua, N.H.) shot 8-for-14 from the floor to finish with 19 as he led the team offensively. Senior Isaiah Marks (Brooklyn, N.Y.) chipped in with 15 points along with junior Issaiah Chappell (Sunapee, N.H.). Sophomore Tarik Rivers (Stamford, Conn.) totaled 14 points as Rivier had four student-athletes reach double figures in the loss.
Rivier will look to rebound in their next scheduled contest on Tuesday evening as they host the University of Maine-Presque Isle for a 5:00 PM start. Emmanuel will also return to action on Tuesday night as they host Newbury College with a 7:00 PM start time.
