BOSTON - On Monday, May 9, 2023, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2023 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 21 awards were presented as 18 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

BOSTON - Emmanuel College sophomore forward Yannie Chan (Hong Kong, China) has been named the 2022-23 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Year, it was announced on Monday by the conference office. Chan also earned a GNAC First Team All-Conference selection while junior guard Olivia Matela (Swampscott, Mass.) earned a spot on the GNAC All-Conference Third Team. First year forward Megan Reilly (Southbury, Conn.) represented the Saints on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.

STANDISH, Maine - Monks junior Hannah Talon (Windham, Maine) exploded for 18 points in the final quarter, shooting a perfect 8-of-8 from the field, and brought the Saint Joseph’s Monks back from a fourth quarter deficit to lead SJC back to the NCAA Tournament thanks to a 74-67 win over the Emmanuel Saints on Sunday afternoon in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Game.

BOSTON, Mass. – A 70-67 overtime win in Tuesday's Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals against University of Saint Joseph CT sent the No. 2 North-seeded Emmanuel Saints Women's Basketball program into the GNAC Semifinal Round, where they now head to the No. 1 South-seeded Albertus Magnus College Falcons on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cosgrove Athletic Center with the victor earning a spot in Sunday’s GNAC Championship.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A strong defensive first half powered Emmanuel College past host Johnson & Wales University, 87-44, Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s basketball action at the Wildcat Center. The Saints held the Wildcats to single digits in the first two quarters of play, cruising to the one-sided conference road win.
