Three from Women's Hoops Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Juniors Kiera Eubanks (Portland, Maine) and Shakirah Ketant (Easton, Mass.) and sophomore Yannie Chan (Hong Kong, China) of the Emmanuel College women's basketball program have received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, February 21.
BOSTON, Mass. – Juniors Kiera Eubanks (Portland, Maine) and Shakirah Ketant (Easton, Mass.) and sophomore Yannie Chan (Hong Kong, China) of the Emmanuel College women's basketball program have received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, February 21.
The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 50 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in March.
