WINTHROP, Mass. – Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner Joe Walsh is pleased to announce the 2018-19 Academic All-Conference Teams, as 1,030 student-athletes have garnered recognition this year. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average during the academic year and have reached second-year academic status.

His coaching peers describe him as dedicated and inspirational. His players say he is well-respected and loyal. But when longtime Emmanuel College women’s basketball Assistant Coach Arthur Howell was asked how he’d describe himself, he smiled sheepishly and said, “It’s never been about me. It’s always been about the team.”

BOSTON, Mass. – On Saturday, April 27, members from the Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball teams participated in the College’s Spring Day of Service at sites around the city.

BOSTON, Mass. – The honors continued to roll in for Emmanuel College guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) as the junior was recognized by D3Hoops.com, NEWBA and CoSIDA for three separate accolades. Ramirez-Tejeda was tabbed a Google Cloud College Sports Information Director’s of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American, earning Second Team honors to become the first Academic All-American in program history.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Emmanuel College women's basketball team will face host SUNY New Paltz on Saturday, March 2 in Second Round action of the 2019 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball tournament at the Hawk Center. The Saints advanced to the round of 32 following a 69-65 victory over Hartwick College while the Hawks preserved their home-court advantage with a 65-36 win over Rutgers-Newark.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Emmanuel College women's basketball team is set to take on Hartwick College in the opening round of the 2019 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament at the Hawk Center on the SUNY New Paltz campus this Friday at 5:30 PM. The Saints bring a 23-5 overall record to the contest while the Hawks don a 23-4 mark heading into the tournament.

ST. LOUIS (USBWA) – Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda of Emmanuel College (Boston, Mass.) and Luke Smith of Sewanee: University of the South (Sewanee, Tenn.) were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the week ending February 24.

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior guards Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.), Kayla Weaver (West Haven, Conn.) and senior guard Madison McLaughlin (Westerly, R.I.) have been selected to the 2018-19 GNAC Women's Basketball All-Conference teams, it was announced Monday morning by the conference office. Ramirez-Tejeda makes her second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference team with First Team honors while Weaver and McLaughlin garner Third Team accolades while Weaver was also voted the 2019 GNAC Defensive Player of the Year.

STANDISH, MAINE - Junior guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) scored a game-high 24 points including the 1,000th of her career to propel the Emmanuel College women’s basketball team past No. 8/10 Saint Joseph’s College (ME), 65-64, to capture the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s basketball championship.

In a thrilling overtime victory, the Emmanuel College women’s basketball team took down the Albertus Magnus Falcons in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference semifinal game, led by junior Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda and freshman Riley Lahiff (No. Attleboro, Mass.), on Thursday evening on the Andy Yosinoff Court.
