Softball Picks Up Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced the College Team Academic Award winners, honoring softball programs for their stellar performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year. Emmanuel was one of 115 NCAA Division III programs to earn team honors.

Orcutt, Conti & Hill Earn NFCA All-Region Honors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 384 student-athletes from 197 schools who comprise the 2022 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. Emmanuel College was one of only 33 schools in the nation to have three or more student-athletes represented on an All-Region squad as senior Grace Orcutt (Lexington, Mass.), sophomore Olivia Conti (Cranston, R.I.) and junior Jadynne Hill (Haverhill, Mass.) all were voted to this year’s Region I squad. A total of 12 student-athletes from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) earned All-Region honors including six from Johnson & Wales, three from Emmanuel, two from Simmons and one from Albertus Magnus.

Berry Named GNAC Softball Coach of the Year; Eight Honored
BOSTON, Mass. – For the second year in a row, Emmanuel College head softball coach Olivia Berry has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Coach of the Year, while eight of her players were recognized on the All-Conference and All-Sportsmanship teams it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Softball Advances to Championship Series With 8-4 Sunday Morning Win vs. SJC
BOSTON - The Saints softball program run to the championship continues following Sunday morning’s 8-4 win over Saint Joseph’s College, in an elimination game, in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships. The win sends Emmanuel into the GNAC Championship Series with Johnson & Wales.

JWU Downs Softball 6-2 to Claim 2022 GNAC Softball Crown
BOSTON, Mass. - Johnson & Wales University defeated host Emmanuel College, 6-2, to claim the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Championship on Sunday afternoon at Roberto Clemente Field in Boston, Mass. Senior second basemen Kaelani Gamble (Vancouver, Wash.) was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player for the Wildcats batting .455 with three home runs, six RBI and four runs scored in the GNAC tournament.
