    BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College senior Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) has earned CoSIDA All-District honors, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), for the third-consecutive year.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (USBWA) – Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda of Emmanuel College (Boston, Mass.) and Isaiah Brown of SUNY Potsdam (Potsdam, N.Y.) and were named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Players of the Week for the week ending February 16.
  • Saints Top Lasers 68-62 for Share of Regular-Season GNAC Crown

    NEWTON, Mass. – The Lasell University women’s basketball team gave league-leading and defending champion Emmanuel College all it could handle Tuesday evening but the visiting Saints pulled out a 68-62 victory over the Lasers in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) regular season finale for both schools at the Lasell Athletic Center.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Senior guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday afternoon by the conference.office. This marks the ninth time in her career that Ramirez-Tejeda has been named the GNAC Player of the Week, earning the honor once as a sophomore, five times last season as a junior and three times this season.
  • Emmanuel Seniors Lead the Way on Senior Day Past Monks, 81-40

    BOSTON, Mass. - On their Senior Day game, Emmanuel College seniors Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.), Kayla Weaver (West Haven, Conn.) and Caitlin Cipriano (Waterbury, Conn.) combined to score 44 points to lift the Emmanuel College women’s basketball team past Saint Joseph’s College (ME), 81-40, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action in Boston, Mass.

  • Big First Quarter Enough to Power Women’s Hoops Past JWU, 68-56

    BOSTON, Mass. -The Emmanuel College women’s basketball team used a big first quarter performance to carry them past Johnson & Wales University, 68-56, Tuesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on the Andy Yosinoff Court. The Saints outscored the Wildcats by a 25-10 margin in the opening frame, never trailing in the action en route to the home victory.
  • EC Women’s Basketball Falls to Suffolk, 73-59

    The visiting Suffolk University Rams took down the Saints in a thrilling Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up on Saturday, February 1st. The Rams were led by junior guard Jenni-Rose DiCecco’s (Falmouth, Mass.) game-high 18 points, six assists and five rebounds while teammate Alexis Hackett (Charlton, Mass.) tied the all-time rebounding record for Suffolk University.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College's women’s basketball team remains unbeaten in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play, after a 70-55 victory over the AMCats of Anna Maria College. Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) led the way with her twelfth double-double of the year with 23 points and 18 rebounds.

    The EC women’s basketball team recorded their second Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday, January 15th over the University of Saint Joseph’s Blue Jays, led by a game-high 21 points by Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) and 11 points by freshman Emma Fenton (Monument Beach, Mass.), 82-32.

    WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Sophomore forward Anna Barry (Andover) and senior forward Mya Villard (Cromwell) each had 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor in the first half and sophomore guard Danielle O’Brien (Rockland, MA) had eight assists and three steals over the first 20 minutes as the Eastern Connecticut State University women’s basketball team defeated Emmanuel College, 90-62, in a non-conference game Monday evening at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium.

    BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College women’s basketball team used a dominant first half performance en route to an 85-34 victory over Rivier University in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference opener for both squads. The Saints outscored the Raiders 49-6 in the opening stanza to cruise to the GNAC win.

    SALEM, Mass. – Emmanuel College senior guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) produced a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead Emmanuel to an 87-48 win over Salem State on Wednesday evening at Twohig Gymnasium. Ramirez-Tejeda had 16 first half points as the Saints built a 50-26 halftime lead.
