Ramirez-Tejeda Chosen to Play in Beyond Sports/WBCA Senior All-Star Game
ATLANTA, Ga. - Emmanuel College senior guard Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (Cambridge, Mass.) has been selected to play in the Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game presented by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), as announced by the organization this afternoon.

A total of 18 players from across the country have been chosen to play in the exhibition contest by a committee of NCAA Division III head women's basketball coaches/WBCA members. The second annual Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game will be played at the Capital Center Performance Arena on the campus of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio on March 21 immediately preceding the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game. Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM ET.
The final two participants will be selected by fans from a list of five nominees. Voting is now open. Click here to access your all-star ballot at BeyondSportsTours.com. Fan voting ends at noon ET, Sunday, March 15. The final two all-stars will be announced March 15.
Ramirez-Tejeda, who is one of just three players from the Northeast Region (Tufts senior guard Erica DeCandido and Amherst senior guard Hannah Fox are the others) on the all-star game roster, earns the nod after averaging 19.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 48.5% (238-491) from the field during her senior season. She ranks first in NCAA DIII Women's Basketball in double-doubles (23), fifth in rebounds (347) and offensive rebounds per game (5.4), and 15th in points (559).
During her senior season Ramirez-Tejeda moved into third all-time at EC in career points (1,596) and second in rebounds (935) in just three seasons with the Saints.
This winter, the three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team All-Conference selection established a new Emmanuel single-season rebounding standard at 347 boards. The 2020 GNAC Player of the Year also owns the EC single-season scoring record with 626 points from the 2018-19 campaign.
Ramirez-Tejeda capped her senior campaign with 56 career double-doubles over just three seasons to rank sixth all-time for players with only three playing seasons and 31st all-time among NCAA Division III women's hoopsters.
