Fabrizio Represents Men's Volleyball on CSC Academic All-District List
BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Roman Fabrizio (Salem, N.H.) of the Emmanuel College men’s volleyball program has received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, May 23.

Class of 2023 Emmanuel College Athletics Senior Awards Announced
BOSTON - On Monday, May 9, 2023, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2023 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 21 awards were presented as 18 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

May Named GNAC Men’s Volleyball Coach of the Year; Six Earn All-GNAC Honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College men’s volleyball head coach Bori May has been named the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, it was announced today by the conference office with the release of the All-Conference squad. Along with May’s selection, the Saints landed six players across the All-GNAC teams including three Second Team picks, one Third Team pick and three All-Rookie team honorees.

Men’s Volleyball Bounced in GNAC Quarters With Straight Sets Loss vs. Emerson
BOSTON - Four Lions players finished the night with at least seven kills, combining for part of a 38-team kill evening with a .286 hitting percentage, as the Emerson Lions advance to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semifinals following a straight sets victory over the Emmanuel Saints on Tuesday evening.

No. 4 Men's Volleyball Opens 2023 GNAC Tournament Play on Tuesday vs. No. 5 Emerson
BOSTON, Mass. – After finishing the regular-season with an overall record of 19-13 and a 10-6 mark in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action, the Emmanuel College men's volleyball program has earned the No. 4 seed in the GNAC and will host the No. 5 seed Emerson College Lions on Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00 PM on the Andy Yosinoff Court in the 2023 GNAC Men's Volleyball Tournament Quarterfinals.

Fabrizio Picks Up Fourth GNAC Setter of the Week Award
BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Roman Fabrizio (Salem, N.H.) earned his fourth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week honor this afternoon, as announced by the conference office on the weekly reports. Fabrizio also earned the honor on March 27, February 20 and January 30 making him one of only two men’s volleyball players in the GNAC to earn a Weekly Award four times this season.

Men’s Volleyball Splits Tri-Match, Clinches No. 4 Seed in Postseason
BOSTON - Despite a split of Saturday’s tri-match, the Emmanuel Saints men’s volleyball team clinched home court in the quarterfinal round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Playoffs. Thanks to a 3-1 win over Emerson in the morning match, the Saints will host a playoff game in the Jean Yawkey Center for the first time since 2019.

Men’s Volleyball Sweeps Lesley in Final Home Contests of Regular Season
BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College posted a pair of 3-0 victories over Lesley University in non-conference men’s volleyball action Thursday evening on the Andy Yosinoff Court inside the Jean Yawkey Center. The doubleheader matches were the Saints last regular-season contests of the 2023 campaign.

With the pair of setbacks, the Saints drop down to fourth in the conference standings just two weeks ahead of GNAC postseason play.

Men's Volleyball Splits After 16-Day Layoff; Topping Sage 3-0
ALBANY, N.Y. - Following a 16-day layoff from NCAA competition, the Emmanuel College men's volleyball team split Saturday afternoon’s non-conference action vs SUNY Poly and Sage College. The Saints dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Wildcats in the opener before salvaging the split with a convincing 3-0 sweep over the Gators to wrap up the day in Albany, N.Y.
