Fabrizio Picks Up Fourth GNAC Setter of the Week Award
BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Roman Fabrizio (Salem, N.H.) earned his fourth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week honor this afternoon, as announced by the conference office on the weekly reports. Fabrizio also earned the honor on March 27, February 20 and January 30 making him one of only two men’s volleyball players in the GNAC to earn a Weekly Award four times this season.

Fabrizio also earned the honor on March 27, February 20 and January 30 making him one of only two men's volleyball players in the GNAC to earn a Weekly Award four times this season.
Last week, the New Hampshire native dished out 91 total assists in two GNAC wins, averaging an impressive 11.38 assists per set for Emmanuel. The senior posted 50 assists on his senior night win over Regis and followed it up with a 41-assist outing vs. Emerson to clinch home-court in the GNAC Quarterfinals. Fabrizio added 12 digs, three aces and a kill in the two EC victories.
Fabrizio currently leads the GNAC while ranking 33rd nationally averaging 8.68 assists per set and is second overall in assists (739) which is good for 24th among NCAA D-III setters.
Over his career, the setter has amassed 1,589 helpers to rank seventh all-time at Emmanuel.
Fabrizio and the No. 4 Saints look to keep their season rolling tomorrow evening when they play host to No. 5 Emerson College in the 2023 GNAC Men's Volleyball Quarterfinals at 7:00 PM on the Andy Yosinoff Court. The winner will advance to take on No. 1 Wentworth on Thursday at 7:00 PM down the road on the WIT campus in the GNAC Semifinals.
