WINTHROP, Mass. – Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner Joe Walsh is pleased to announce the 2018-19 Academic All-Conference Teams, as 1,030 student-athletes have garnered recognition this year. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average during the academic year and have reached second-year academic status.

BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College junior Olivia Burgos (Newington, Conn.) been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Northeast Region Second Team, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon by the NFCA offices. This marks the first time since 2015 that an Emmanuel player has earned All-Region honors when both Catherine Davis (’16) and Jill Kilcoyne (’17) earned First Team honors.

BOSTON, Mass. – For the first time since 1998, the Emmanuel College softball program has four members named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Junior pitcher Megan Kieselback (Wethersfield, Conn.) and junior catcher Casey Sheehan (Medway, Mass.) were named to the GNAC Second Team while junior outfielder/pitcher Olivia Burgos (Newington, Conn.) and sophomore outfielder Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (South Boston, Mass.) were tabbed to the GNAC Third Team. Sophomore outfielder Sarah Hoisl (West Hartford, Conn.) earned GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team honors.

EAST BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College softball team's postseason run came to an end as the Saints fell to No. 1 Suffolk University in extra innings, 4-3, in the the loser's bracket championship game Sunday morning at East Boston Memorial Park.

EAST BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College softball team picked up two more victories Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference tournament play to advance to Championship Sunday action for the second time in three seasons. The Saints earned a 9-5 win over No. 5 Albertus Magnus before stopping No. 3 Simmons, 6-3 to move on to Sunday's loser's bracket Championship game against No. 1 seeded Suffolk University at 10:00 AM.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior catcher Casey Sheehan (Medway, Mass.) was 2-4 with three runs batted in to lead the seventh-seeded Emmanuel College (Mass.) softball team over number three seed Simmons College, 8-3, in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinals this afternoon at Scotts Miracle-Gro Field on the campus of second seeded Johnson & Wales University. The Saints have won 11 of their last 12 games and improve to 23-16, while the Sharks fall to 21-18.

The Emmanuel College softball team topped host University of Saint Joseph (CT), 5-2, in First Round action of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference softball tournament Wednesday afternoon at the USJ Softball Field. The No. 7 Saints (22-16) advance to the GNAC Quarterfinals for the third time in four years while the No. 6 Blue Jays wrap up their campaign with an overall record of 23-16.

New Haven, Conn. – The Emmanuel College softball team split a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on the road against Emmanuel (Mass.) College on Saturday afternoon at the Shea Softball Complex as part of Senior Day. The Saints took game one in five-innings, 13-4, but the Falcons bounced back taking the nightcap, 6-2.

This marks the second time this season she has been honored by the conference, previously earning GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors back on the week of March 12.

PAXTON, Mass. - Junior pitcher Megan Kieselback (Wethersfield, Conn.) fired a no-hitter while junior Olivia Burgos (Newington, Conn.) and freshman Mikaela Montemagni (Chicopee, Mass.) combined for a one-hitter as the Emmanuel College softball team swept Anna Maria College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Sunday afternoon by scores of 6-0 and 10-0.

The Saint Joseph’s College softball came from behind in both games of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference doubleheader against host Emmanuel College to pick up a pair of wins Wednesday evening in GNAC action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Monks earned a 3-1 win in game one and an 8-7 win in game two for the sweep.

EAST BOSTON – The Suffolk softball team overcame a three-run deficit with a five-run fifth inning to take down Emmanuel, 6-3, in the doubleheader opener and in game two, the squad barreled three homers and Taylor Holmes was close to perfect as the Rams blanked Emmanuel, 6-0, to wrap up the GNAC twinbill Saturday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.

NASHUA, N.H. - The Emmanuel College softball team moved back up the ranks in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference standings on Wednesday evening, taking both games in a conference doubleheader against Rivier University at the Rivier Raiders Field. The Saints took game 1, 7-3, and continued the offensive attack in game 2 for an 8-0 victory.
