SAINTS TO WATCH FOR (Women's 6k)
Senior Elizabeth Cameron (Raynham, Mass.) became the first Saints runner since 2017 to win an event individually, claiming the Elms XC Classic after completing the 6k in a time of 25:27. Cameron has saved some of her best races for the big moments, claiming a spot on the GNAC All-Second Team in 2021 with an eighth-place finish in the Conference Championship race and running a PR time of 25:21.8 in the 6k in last year's Division III East Regional Championship.
Senior Mia Rowell (Candia, N.H.) has set a pair of PRs this season; first, in a 5k at UMass Dartmouth and again at a 6k at Elms. In mid-September at UMD, Rowell completed the 5k course in 22:25.7 for the PR. The following week saw Rowell not only set a PR in the 6k with a time of 28:13, but also earn her best finish of the season, a fifth-place run at the Elms XC Classic.
Junior Emma Krantz (Manchester, N.H.) nearly earned a spot on the GNAC All-Second Team last season, finishing just four places out of the top 12. Krantz has a fourth-place finish this season, coming at the Elms XC Classic, after a 6k race and season-best time of 27:24.
SAINTS TO WATCH FOR (Men's 8k)
First-year runner Mikel Lacroix (Cumberland, R.I.) has the Saints best positional finish of the season, a 14th place run at the Elms XC Classic. The time of 34:10 stood as Lacroix's 8k PR until ECs last meet at the Suffolk Invite where the rookie runner set a new mark with a time of 32:53.1.
Junior Kyle Antoine (Brockton, Mass.) is one of two Saints to compete in all five meets for the men's program this season. Antoine is coming off his PR in an 8k at the Suffolk Invite, completing the course in 36:59.6.
First-year Adam Von-Maszewski (Westborough, Mass.) is the other Saints runner to compete in every men's team event this year. Von-Maszewski is also coming off his PR in an 8k at the Suffolk Invite, finishing the event in a time of 37:10.9.
