VOLLEYBALL TEAM ROLLS PAST FRAMINGHAM STATE

Boston, Mass. - The Saints hosted the Rams of Framingham State College on Thursday night in the second meeting between these two programs. Emmanuel swept the Rams in three sets, winning, 25-16, 25-17, 25-19. With this win, the Saints improved to 6-4 on the season and remain undefeated at 2-0 in the conference.
Senior Lindsey Parker (New Bedford, MA) and freshman Rebecca Stanton (Quincy, MA) led Emmanuel's offense, tallying 6 kills apiece. Junior middle Nicole McAllister (Hampden, ME) totaled a match-high 6 blocks and 3 aces, while rookie hitter Jenna Ross (Centerburg, OH) notched a career-high 17 digs. Senior Amanda Machado (Swansea, MA) picked up 16 digs and freshman setter Cynthia Hernandez (South Dennis, MA) dished out 19 assists in the win for the Saints.
Emmanuel (6-4) will play again this Saturday (9/27). The Saints will travel to Norton, MA to take on the Lyons of Wheaton College in a 2pm start.
