Women's Volleyball Falls in Pair of GNAC Matches to Dean, Elms
FRANKLIN, Mass. - The Emmanuel Saints women's volleyball program was swept on a Great Northeast Athletic Conference tri-match Saturday, falling in five sets to the hosts, Dean College, followed by a 3-0 loss at the hands of Elms College.

Senior Sari Albury (Nassau, Bahamas) led all players with a season-high 18 kills on .293 hitting for the Bulldogs. She added three blocks. Sophomore Janai Price (Providence, R.I.) added eight kills. Junior Bella Driscoll (Plymouth, Mass.) finished with 34 assists and a team-best 17 digs. Sophomore Lena Muraski (Manchester, Conn.) contributed 14 digs and three blocks.
Emmanuel received 17 kills from junior Seana Phillips (Middleboro, Mass.). Senior Kerry Shea (Tewksbury, Mass.) posted 12 kills and 15 digs. Senior libero Tatiana Correia (Peabody, Mass.) picked up a match-best 19 digs. Senior setter Rachel Coleman (Peabody, Mass.) tallied 47 assists.
ELMS 3, EMMANUEL 0 – 28-26, 25-20, 25-19
Senior Jaylianne Ramos Figueroa hit .353 and registered an impressive 24 kills to lift Elms to the sweep. Senior Lauran Jensen posted a double-double of 14 kills and 10 digs. Setter Jaylen Holman recorded match-highs of 32 assists and 14 digs.
Junior Alison Doherty (Woburn, Mass.) paced Emmanuel with six kills. Correia had 13 digs to lead the Saints.
UP NEXT
Dean hits the road on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match at Anna Maria. Elms plays at Albertus Magnus on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. first serve. Emmanuel steps out of conference on Thursday for a 7 p.m. match at Mount Holyoke.
