FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The Emmanuel Saints women's volleyball program fell on Thursday night in straight sets, on the road, at Framingham State University.
THE BASICS:

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Rams led from the jump in the opening frame before Emmanuel rallied tying the game at 20-20. The Saints took their first lead of the match 21-22 on a service ace before the Rams scored four straight to secure the set 25-22.
- The Rams took the second and third sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-14 to secure the non-conference victory.
FOR FRAMINGHAM STATE:
- Framingham State was paced on the attack by Valerie Sullivan who collected 12 kills on 26 attempts for a .269 hitting percentage.
- Brandee Thomas followed with 11 kills on her 28 swings and added 14 defensive digs.
- Morgan Failla chipped in with four kills, 27 assists and 10 digs, while Isabel Henwood chipped in a pair of aces and 10 digs.
- Hailey Sander added six kills, three assists and a match best four blocks.
FOR EMMANUEL:
- The Saints were paced by eight kills and seven digs from Sasha Hyacinthe (Stoughton, Mass.), while Kerry Shea (Tewksbury, Mass.) added seven kills and six digs.
- Tatiana Correia (Peabody, Mass.) led the back row effort with a team-high 13 digs.
- Rachel Coleman (Peabody, Mass.) finished the match with 11 assists and two digs.
UP NEXT:
- The Saints return on Saturday morning with a tri-match against Mass Maritime and Northern Vermont - Lyndon. The Mariners will host Saturday's tri-match as the Saints are scheduled to play at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively.
