SHELOW NAMED TO GNAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-CONFERENCE SQUAD

Sophomore defensive specialist Selina Brito (Lowell, Mass.) represented Emmanuel on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.
Shelow put together another solid all-around campaign for Emmanuel, appearing in 27 matches and 94 total sets. The Miami, Fla. native closed out the 2018 season with a total of 309 kills to average a team-best 3.29 kills per set which also ranked third in the GNAC. Shelow also was among the team leaders in several other categories, ranking first in service aces and second in total blocks. The junior also recorded 108 digs and 11 assists on the season. The three-time All-Conference selection led the team with 17 matches with 10+ kills including two matches with 20+ kills. Shelow registered her 1,000th career kill late in the season becoming just the fifth player in program history to join the Grand Club in kills.
Over her career, Shelow has appeared in 111 total matches and accumulated 1,021 kills, 343 digs and 165 total blocks and 123 aces.
The Saints finished the 2018 campaign with an overall record of 9-18, posting a 6-6 record in GNAC play. Emmanuel earned the No. 7 seed in the GNAC tournament, falling to No. 2 Rivier in the GNAC Quarterfinals.
