LEE INVITED TO PLAY IN ALL-NEW ENGLAND SENIOR CLASSIC

NEW LONDON, N.H. – Emmanuel College Women's Volleyball standout, Yun-Ting Lee (Keelung, Taiwan), has been invited to play in the 2012 All-New England Senior Classic.  Lee is one of New England's top 35 Division III senior volleyball players, as selected by the New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA).

The 2012 NEWVA Senior Classic will be played on Sunday, December 2nd, at Babson College. The annual event features the area's top seniors competing in various skills competitions leading up to the afternoon's all-star match.

Over the past four years, Lee has anchored Emmanuel's back row as the Saints' starting libero.  This season, she recorded 509 digs and became the program's all-time digs leader with a total of 1,814 over her four-year career.  Lee is a two-time All-Conference selection, having been named to the All-GNAC 2nd Team this year and the All-GNAC 3rd Team and GNAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2011.

Lee is one of just a handful of Emmanuel College seniors to be invited to play in the New England Senior Classic. In addition to Lee, recent invitees include Rebecca Stanton ('12), Lindsey Parker ('08) and Amy Miklus ('06).

Along with the Senior Classic invitees, seven seniors earned 2012 NEWVA Honorable Mention, recognizing their New England collegiate volleyball careers. All players were selected by a vote of all participating member head coaches, following the nomination process.  The full list of honorees represents 24 different institutions from NCAA Division III volleyball programs across New England and nine different conferences.
