AS A JUNIOR... Played in and started 22 games for the Saints before ending the season early after breaking her hand in a collision at home plate ... Ranked second on the team with 100 putouts on the year, posting a .971 fielding percentage to also rank squad on the squad ... Drew six walks on the season while posting a .273 on-base percentage ... Finished the season with seven runs scored and five RBI before getting sidelined due to the injury ... Enjoyed back-to-back multi-hit outings on 3/6 vs. Waynesburg and 3/7 vs. Mitchell ... Also scored two runs while driving in two RBI in the 9-1 win vs. Mitchell on 3/7 ... Named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
AS A SOPHOMORE...Landers started in 23 of
her 26 games, playing either catcher or 1st base...earned a .250
batting average with 14 hits in her 56 at-bats with 5 runs batted
in...notched a double and a homerun and scored 6 runs...was third
on the team in on-base-percentage (.353)...totaled 101 put-outs and
11 assists for a .933 fielding percentage defensively...helped the
Saints to a 10-21 overall record and a 6-18 conference
mark.
AS A FRESHMAN...Landers started in 27 of her
30 games played, either catching or at 1st base...totaled 10 hits,
including 2 doubles and 8 runs batted in...recorded 131 put-outs
and 12 assists defensively for a .960 fielding percentage....helped
the Saints to an 11-23 overall record and an 8-16 GNAC
record.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Landers was a four-year
starter on the varsity team at St. Peter Marian High School
(Worcester, Mass.)...played catcher and at first base...captained
the team and led the squad in hits and RBIs her senior year...named
a Worcester Telegram and Gazette Honorable Mention
All-Star...chosen Central Massachusetts All-Star and received her
team's Coach's Award her senior year...awarded the "Ann Ash-Zelesky
Award" (Athletic Director at Holy Cross College) as a
senior...played ASA from U12 on, competing on the Worcester
Hurricanes, Worcester Blaze, Team X-Treme and Mass
Intensity.
