AS A SOPHOMORE...Hamel started in 10 of 20
games played, suiting up in the outfield and catching for the
Saints...notched 5 hits in 27 at-bats with 1 double, 1 homer and 3
RBIs...scored 5 runs and tallied a .333 slugging percentage...was
second on the team defensively with a .975 fielding percentage with
35 put-outs and 4 assists...was named Emmanuel's Most Improved
Player...helped the Saints to a 10-21 overall record and a 6-18
conference mark.
AS A FRESHMAN...Hamel started in 9 of 19 games
played for the Saints, playing in the outfield and catching...hit
.200 from the plate with 5 hits in 25 at-bats with 1 run batted
in...tallied 12 put-outs and 2 assists defensively...helped the
