Bio

Coach Berardi joined the Saints Softball staff in the summer of 2013 for her first season as an Assistant Coach at the collegiate level.  Prior to coming to Emmanuel, Berardi spent three years as an Assistant Coach for the varsity softball team at Fontbonne Academy in Milton, Mass.  Before moving into the varsity assistant coaching position, she was the Head Coach for the Fontbonne junior varsity team for two seasons.  Berardi has also coached the South Shore Stealers 18U and 23U programs out of Braintree, Mass. for the past five years.

Berardi played her collegiate ball at Curry College, where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.  She was standout on the field for Curry, captaining her team as a senior and being selected All-Commonwealth Coach Conference as both a junior and a senior.  Her team honors include being named Rookie of the Year in 2002, Unsung Hero in 2003, Most Improved Player in 2004 and receiving the Golden Glove Award in 2005.  Berardi graduated from Curry with the program record for most innings played in a collegiate career.
