Dawe Earns GNAC Pitcher of the Week Honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College senior Tianna Dawe (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) softball Pitcher of the Week, it was announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Dawe posted a 2-0 record to go along with a save in the circle, working 15 innings for two complete-game victories for Emmanuel. The senior scatted four hits while striking out seven in a complete-game shutout win vs. Regis to open the week before working 7.0 innings on the road vs. Albertus Magnus, surrendering just one run in EC's 4-1 win, striking out five. In game 2 of the twinbill against the Falcons, Dawe worked the final four outs in the Saints 3-0 win to earn the save.
The senior currently ranks tied for fifth in the GNAC in wins with nine and ranks third overall in innings pitched at 104.0. She currently boasts a 3.23 ERA which ranks sixth overall in the GNAC North Division while her 67 K's also ranks sixth in the GNAC North.
Over her career, Dawe has recorded 35 wins over 360 innings of work with a 2.80 ERA and 261 strikeouts. She also has four saves and has tossed 35 complete games.
The Saints are back on the field tomorrow, April 25 for a non-conference doubleheader at Wheaton College (MA) with first pitch scheduled for 3:30 PM in Norton, Mass.
