Senior Spotlight Series - Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda - Softball
With the sudden end to the 2020 spring seasons due to the CoVID19 epidemic, the Emmanuel College Athletic Department wanted to take a moment to recognize members of the class of 2020 during the final semester of their senior season at Emmanuel College. The Senior Spotlight Series was a chance for our community as Saints to give each of these individuals the notoriety and recognition they all deserve while getting a little behind the scenes glimpse into their lives outside the uniform.

Participation in this series was optional and we're grateful to have heard from so many wonderful representatives from our senior class. While their careers at Emmanuel may be coming to a close, their lives as Saints are just beginning.

10) Give some advice or words of wisdom to future Saints.
Dear Future Saints - There are going to be some ups and downs throughout this ride, but that's what being part of a team is all about. You have to work together to get through those tough times. You are going to win games and lose some, but at the end of your journey make sure you leave Emmanuel remembered as something more than just having a winning season or winning championships. Leave your own mark, have fun, make memories and enjoy the ride because it truly does fly by. Never ever take anything for granted. Enjoy every second of it all even when it's not fun because you will miss it someday. Remember that you play every day for something bigger than yourself. Every time you put on an Emmanuel jersey, you are representing your family, teammates, coaches, the school and everyone that played years ago. Be proud to be wearing an Emmanuel Saints jersey every time you step on the field or court. Enjoy the best four years of your life and leave here with no regrets.
Thank you, Yuleska for your commiment and dedication to Emmanuel College Athletics and the Softball (and Women's Basketball) program! Check back in every Tuesday and Thursday for more content from the Senior Spotlight Series!
