INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- MIT outshot the Saints 25-8 on the evening, dominating the stat during the opening stanza with a 17-4 margin
- The visitors built up a 4-0 first half lead behind Hrabchak's early scores before Emmanuel opened the second half scoring with freshman Rachel Prevost's (Tewksbury, Mass.) first collegiate goal coming off an assist by fellow rookie Emma Johnson (Ellington, Conn.)
- The Engineers found the back of the net twice over the final eight minutes including a score with just three seconds to play in regulation to account for the 6-1 final
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hrabchak wasted little time to give the visitor's a 1-0 lead with her third goal of the year coming just 3:01 into the action off an assist from Emily Berzolla (Riverside, Conn.)
- The Engineer duo hooked up less than 10 minutes later to make it 2-0 with Hrabchak's team-leading fourth goal of the campaign
- Senior forward Olivia Struckman (Scottsdale, Ariz.) made it 3-0 with her second tally of the season before Allie Werner (Tyler, Texas) capped the first half scoring with her first goal of the year to make it 4-0
- EC sophomore netminder Alexis Gawron (South Hadley, Mass.) made nine saves in the half for Emmanuel before giving way to senior Tori LaRoche (Hudson, N.H.) who made two saves in the second stanza
- Emmanuel used the half to reset to come out and play a much stronger second stanza behind Prevost's goal
- MIT junior Selin Selman (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Brittany Sacks (Calabasas, Calif.) tallied goals over the final eight minutes including Sacks first collegiate marker with three seconds to play in regulation
