AS A SOPHOMORE...Leahy served as one of the team's tri-captains during the program's inaugural season...started in all 11 of her games played...scored Emmanuel's first-ever goal on March 17, 2011 in a non-conference game at Regis College...was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on April 18, 2011...was the Saints' second-leading scorer with 26 goals and 3 assists for 29 total points...took 52 shots, including 45 shots on goal in 2011..collected 25 groundballs on the year...will return as a junior as one of the team's captains for the 2012 season.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Leahy played varsity lacrosse at Cohasset High School (Cohasset, Mass.)...earned a varsity letter all four years...was voted a South Shore League All-Star in 2008-09...captained her high school team as a senior.
