Five Saints Tabbed to CSC Academic All-District Team
BOSTON, Mass. – Seniors Alyssa Santangeli (Watertown, Conn.), Megan Steele (Auburn, Maine), Ali Bergin (Newbury, Mass.), junior Nicole Hunter (South Windsor, Conn.) and sophomore Delaney Brown (Agawam, Mass.) of the Emmanuel College women's lacrosse program have received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, May 23.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 50 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 21-22.
