CHALK NETS CAREER-HIGH IN 102-78 WIN OVER RIVIER
NASHUA, N.H. - Emmanuel College senior forward Jen Chalk (Horseheads, N.Y.) poured in a career-high 32 points to pace the women's basketball team to a 102-78 Great Northeast Athletic Conference win over Rivier University on Monday afternoon at the Muldoon Gymnasium. The loss sends the Raiders to 3-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference while Emmanuel improves to 10-5, 6-1 GNAC.

The loss sends the Raiders to 3-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference while Emmanuel improves to 10-5, 6-1 GNAC.
Seniors Caitlyn Perry (Nashua, N.H.) and Rebecca DeBaldo (Pelham, N.H.) led the way for the Raiders as they scored 19 points each and classmate Caitlin Bulger (Quincy, Mass.) added 11 in the loss. Sophomore Linsey Roth (Tyngsboro, Mass.) played well with 12 points in a reserve effort while DeBaldo led the team with eight rebounds.
Chalk's career-high of 32 points came on 13-of-17 shooting to go along with her eight rebounds to pace the offensive attack for the Saints. Junior Alisha Fox (National Park, N.J.) provided additional help with 10 points off the bench and sophomore Maddie McLaughlin (Westerly, R.I.) knocked down three three-point attempts on her way to finishing with 12 points.
The Saints eclipsed the 100 point threshold for the first time this season and for the first time since the 2014-15 season when they hit the century marker in a win over Rivier on 1/19/15. Prior to that, the team had not hit 100 points in game since 2004.
Rivier will look to return to the win column their next time out on the floor when they travel to Boston, Mass. on Thursday night for a GNAC contest at Suffolk University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm. Emmanuel will also be on the road in conference action on Thursday night as they travel to Providence, R.I. for a 7pm tilt with Johnson & Wales University.
