Bio

AS A FRESHMAN … Higgins appeared in 24 games during her rookie campaign, averaging 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds … Scored in double-figures twice, notching 12 points against University of Saint Joseph (CT) in the GNAC Quarterfinals as well as 12 points against University of Rochester in the first round of the NCAA Tournament … Grabbed a season-best 11 rebounds in a win on December 6 vs. Salem State University … Wrapped up the year with 84 points, 57 rebounds, 21 steals, 16 assists and three blocks ... also helped to lead the Saints Women's Lacrosse Team to a 9-5 overall record in the spring of 2013, scoring 34 points with 25 goals and 9 assists in her rookie season.

BEFORE EMMANUEL ... Higgins was a four-year member of the Pentucket High School (West Newbury, Mass.) varsity basketball and lacrosse teams, while also playing on the girls soccer team ... Named a Cape Ann League All-Star as a junior in both soccer and basketball ... Recognized on the Cape Ann All-League team as a senior in soccer and basketball ... Captained her soccer and basketball teams during her senior year.
