AS A JUNIOR...McCaffrey transferred back to
Emmanuel from Nassau Community College...played his first season of
collegiate volleyball...saw solid minutes in the Saints' starting
line-up, playing in 35 total matches...was named the GNAC Player of
the Week on 3/22/10 and was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll the
following week on 3/29/10...selected to the GNAC All-Tournament
Team...voted GNAC 3rd Team All-Conference...set new program record
for hitting percentage in a match (.857 w/ minimum 12 kills)...led
Emmanuel in blocks with 99 total blocks, including 21 solo and 78
assisted...was second on the Saints in hitting percentage
(.356)...totaled 173 kills (1.66 per set), 12 digs and 8 service
aces... helped the Saints to a program-best 27 wins, including
making a trip to the GNAC Finals and to the NECVA Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE...McCaffrey attended Emmanuel during the
fall semester, but transferred to Nassau Community College for the
spring semester of his sophomore year.
AS A FRESHMAN...McCaffrey attended Emmanuel, but did not
play on the men's volleyball team.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...McCaffrey was a two-sport athlete at
Plainedge High School (Massapequa, N.Y.), playing both volleyball
and soccer...played 3 years of varsity volleyball and named captain
and All-County his senior year.
