Men's Volleyball Moves to 2-0 with 3-1 Win Over Eastern Nazarene

The Lions slip to 0-1 on the year with the setback while the Saints improve to 2-0 overall to start the year, marking the first 2-0 start for the program since the 2011 season when they opened the year 4-0.
The visitors eked out a 34-32 hard-fought opening set to establish a 1-0 edge.
Emmanuel stretched its advantage to 2-0 with a narrow 25-23 win in the second frame.
Eastern Nazarene prevailed 25-19 in the third to cut the deficit to 2-1.
The Saints cemented their second-straight victory with a 25-21 decision in the fourth set.
Joshua McDonald (Smithtown, N.Y.) paced the Saints with 18 a career-high kills and seven blocks. First year outside hitter Jyles Amirault (Andover, Mass.) registered 15 kills and 11 digs while junior setter Roman Fabrizio (Salem, N.H.) recorded a career-best 46 assists in the victory.
Delfy Soler (Lawrence, Mass.) notched a team-high 12 kills and added eight digs. Matthew Mucha (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) posted a double-double with 10 digs and 10 kills. Nick Thibeau (Spencerport, N.Y.) finished with eight kills and five total blocks. Aaron Huang (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 21 assists and Christopher Gil (Lawrence, Mass.) chipped in with 12 assists on the night.
Up next, Eastern Nazarene treks to St. Joseph's (L.I.) January 21 while Emmanuel heads across the river to Cambridge, Mass. to take on MIT on Saturday, January 22 at 3:30 PM.
