AS A SENIOR...

• Played in all 17 matches before the 2020 campaign was cut short due to the CoVID19 epidemic, earning four starts
• Led Emmanuel while ranking sixth in the GNAC with 127 total digs, also ranking sixth in the conference in digs per set with 2.40
• Recorded a season-high 15 digs vs. Nichols College on February 22
• Hit .556 (5-0-9) vs. Lesley University in the final playdate of the 2020 campaign
• Finished the year with 20 assists, 15 kills and one ace.

AS A JUNIOR...

• Played in a career-high 34 contests for the Saints, earning four starts over the year
• Ranked second on the team, fifth in the GNAC and 32nd nationally with 240 total digs on the campaign
• Tied career-high with nine kills vs. Pine Manor College on February 28
• Had 11 matches with 10+ digs including seven consecutive matches from March 29 through April 9 with 10 or more digs, averaging 3.15 digs per set over that sample set
• Named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on April 8
• Recorded a season-best 18 digs in the Saints 3-2 win over Lasell in the GNAC Quarterfinals on April 9
• Finished the year with 45 assists, 21 kills, three aces and one block

AS A SOPHOMORE...

• Gottuso appeared in 28 matches for the Saints for his sophomore campaign
• Ranked third in the GNAC and and 15th in the nation averaging 2.98 digs per set while his 283 total digs also ranked third in conference play and 18 among D-III men's volleyball players
• Recorded a career-best 25 digs as the Saints' defensive specialist against Southern Vermont College on March 10
• The libero finished his sophomore year with 40 assists, four service aces
• Named the 2018 EC Men's Volleyball Most Improved Player by the Coaching Staff

AS A FRESHMAN...

• Gottuso appeared in 25 matches for the Saints during his rookie campaign
• Made his collegiate debut on January 21, against Sage University
• Recorded a season-high 13 digs and a career-high nine kills in a GNAC match up against crosstown rival Emerson on April 1
• The Long Beach native tallied 87 kills, 60 digs and was involved in 15 blocks

BEFORE EMMANUEL:

• Gottuso was a two year player and a one year starter on the Long Beach High School (Long Beach, NY) Volleyball team.  
• He captained the team during his senior campaign and was named All-County Honorable Mention.
