AS A JUNIOR ... Kessler started as an opposite for the Saints, making appearances in 29 of Emmanuel's 30 matches with action in 86 total sets ... Ranked as the team's 3rd leading hitter, averaging 2.24 kills per set ... Recorded 193 kills, 81 digs, 30 blocks, 20 aces and 2 assists on the year ... Hit in double-figures on five different occasions during the season ... Saw a breakout performance in March 7, 2014 vs. Ramapo, when he notched his season-highs of 18 kills (while hitting .406) and 11 digs for a double-double ... Helped lead EC to a 2nd place finish in the conference and to a third-consecutive trip to the GNAC Finals ... Captained the team as a junior and will serve as one of the Saints' tri-captains again in 2015.

AS A SOPHOMORE ... Kessler started as an opposite for the Saints ... Played in 28 matches, including 83 total sets ... Was 5th on the team with 145 kills, averaging 1.75 kills per set and hitting .228 on the season ... Tallied double-figure kill totals in each of his final four matches played on the season ... Recorded a season-best 12 kills, hitting .400, in the Saints' March 5th win over Wentworth ... AS A FRESHMAN ... Kessler saw action in 25 matches, appearing in 46 sets during his rookie campaign ... Registered 27 kills and 27 digs while tallying three assists, three aces and three total blocks ... Recorded a season-high seven kills in a 3-0 win over Albertus Magnus on April 4th.
