AS A SOPHOMORE ... Kessler started as an opposite for the Saints ... played in 28 matches, including 83 total sets ... was 5th on the team with 145 kills, averaging 1.75 kills per set and hitting .228 on the season ... tallied double-figure kill totals in each of his final four matches played on the season ... recorded a season-best 12 kills, hitting .400, in the Saints' March 5th win over Wentworth ... notched 47 digs, 37 blocks (9 solo and 28 assisted), 13 aces and 7 assists ... was named the team's "Most Improved Player" at Emmanuel's Athletic Awards Night on April 27th ... was selected to the GNAC All-Tournament Team ... helped lead the team to a second place finish in the conference and an appearance in the GNAC Finals ... will serve as one of the team's tri-captains for the 2014 season.

AS A FRESHMAN ... Kessler saw action in 25 matches, appearing in 46 sets during his rookie campaign ... registered 27 kills and 27 digs while tallying three assists, three aces and three total blocks ... recorded a season-high seven kills in a 3-0 win over Albertus Magnus on April 4th.
