Bio

Coach Resendes joined the Emmanuel staff in the summer of 2013 as an Assistant Coach for the Saints Men's Soccer Team. Following the 2013 campaign, Resendes was promoted to Associate Head Coach for the Saints.

Resendes earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating in May '13, and was a standout on the soccer field for the Penmen.

Resendes was a four-year starter at SNHU and graduated with the career record for most soccer games played in program history (87).  He was a Northeast-10 All-Conference selection from his freshman through senior seasons and led his teams to NCAA Tournament appearances all four years.  Following his senior season, Resendes was honored as the Penmen's Most Valuable Player, SNHU's Most Dedicated Athlete, and was a finalist for SNHU Male Athlete of the Year.  Most notably, Resendes was named an All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NCSAA).

After earning his undergraduate degree, Resendes played soccer professionally during the summer of 2013 as a member of U.M.F. Tindastoll in Iceland.

When not coaching the Saints, Resendes works full-time for the New England Revolution Academy, where he is focused on curriculum and player development for some of the nation's top soccer prospects.  Resendes resides in Fall River, Mass.
