FERRARINI NAMED GNAC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
BOSTON, Mass. - Men's Soccer freshman goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrarini (Hanover, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office yesterday morning. The honor marks the first time of the keeper's career that he's been recognized by the conference.

The honor marks the first time of the keeper's career that he's been recognized by the conference.
Ferrarini had a tremendous week in net during the Saints three game week. The Hanover native registered six saves in a 1-0 overtime loss to Suffolk University on Monday, Oct. 10. The keeper followed up by recording two consecutive shutouts in victories against Lesley College and Rivier College. During the two shutout performances Ferrarini recorded a combined four saves.
In the late goings of the 2016 campaign, the netminder ranks second in the GNAC with 81 saves.
The Saints are currently 7-7-2 on the season and return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 19 when they travel to Providence, RI. to take on Johnson and Wales in conference action at 4:00 PM.
