BEFORE EMMANUEL...Welch was a two-sport athlete at Longmeadow High School (Longmeadow, Mass.)...playing three years of both varsity lacrosse and varsity soccer...joined the Army out of high school and is currently serving in the Army ROTC program out of Northeastern, where he will serve after college.
