Bio

Chris Willox joined the men's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2021, joining the Saints bench to begin his collegiate coaching career. 

Willox graduated from Merrmiack College in 2020 with a BA in English while Minoring in Education and later completed his Masters of Education in Higher Education in 2021 with a concentration in Student Affairs at his alma mater.

As a collegiate player, Willox played five seasons at MC serving as a team captain his senior campaign. He led the Warriors to back-to-back NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse National Championships in 2018 and 2019 as well as a Runner-Up appearance in the 2017 D-II Finals. Over his career, he played in 58 contests collecting 50 groundballs in the midfield.

Willox was also named to the NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll three times throughout his career and graduated Cum Laude while maintaining a spot in the Merrmiack Honors College, earning Dean's List honors for eight consective semesters during his undergraduate degree. He also was a member of the National Leadership Society all throughout his time at Merrimack.

Outside of playing, Willow worked for the Merrmimack Athletic Department in a Student-Athlete Support role, working directly with athletes with compliance and eligibility issues.

Willox previously worked for Summit Lacrosse Ventures as both an Events Supervisor and Events Coordinator, helping organize and run lacrosse camps throughout upstate New York.

Chris works full-time on the Emmanuel College Admissions team as an Admissions Representative.
