Bio

Coach Massa joined the Saints Athletic Staff in 2012 as one of the Assistant Coaches for the Men's Lacrosse Team.  Massa has extensive lacrosse experience, including involvement with the sport at various levels for over 20 years. In his inaugural season with the Saints, Massa helped to guide Emmanuel to the program's first-ever GNAC play-off victory.

Massa completed his undergraduate work at the United States Air Force Academy, where he majored Systems Engineering Management. During his tenure at Air Force, Massa was a four-year varsity letter-winner and four-year starter on the Men's Lacrosse Team.

During his high school playing career, Massa played for the legendary Jim Pistello, who was instrumental in his development as a lacrosse player in upstate New York.  Massa led Jamesville Dewitt High School to the New York Stat Finals twice and was an All-League player as both a junior and a senior.

When not at Emmanuel, Coach Massa is employed full-time as an Air Force Communications Officer at Hanscom Air Force Base.  He is also currently pursuing a Master's Degree from Tufts University in Engineering Management.  Massa resides in the Fenway area of Boston and enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, traveling and any outdoor activity.
