Men's Lacrosse Drops Spring Break Decision vs. Piedmont
MOREST, Ga. – Nine players scored at least one goal in Wednesday's rout over Emmanuel (Mass.) College as the Piedmont College men's lacrosse team picked up a 21-5 win over the Saints at the Walker Athletic Complex.

DEMOREST, Ga. – Nine players scored at least one goal in Wednesday's rout over Emmanuel (Mass.) College as the Piedmont College men's lacrosse team picked up a 21-5 win over the Saints at the Walker Athletic Complex.
Brothers AVERY JENKS and BRADY JENKS each scored four goals while CONNOR ROGERS added three. CHASE GOFF, JEREMY KOHN, JOSH FRALEY and MICHAEL ANDERSON all scored twice while WALKER BROWN and ZACH JONES added a goal apiece.
B. Jenks scored his third goal midway through the second quarter to set the Piedmont career point record. During his four seasons, Jenks has scored 114 goals with 25 assists, giving him 139 points. The previous record was held by Spencer Ortis (101, 35) who played during the first four seasons of the program (2012-15). Earlier this season, Jenks set the Piedmont career goal record after scoring six times against Birmingham-Southern.
The Lions (5-2) scored early and often in Wednesday's matinee. Rogers scored the opening two goals of the game at 10:35 and 9:17 to put Piedmont ahead. Kohn and B. Jenks closed out the quarter with goals to give Piedmont a 4-0 lead after the first 15 minutes.
PC then scored five goals in the second quarter to take a 9-0 lead into halftime.
Emmanuel (0-4) finally got on the board to start the second half and added a second at 10:56. Both teams battled throughout the quarter as Piedmont led 14-4 after three.
The Saints scored their final goal of the game 45 seconds into the fourth quarter before the Lions rattled off seven goals to close out the win.
Thirteen Piedmont athletes recorded at least one point while seven had multiple.
ZACH CZULADA played the first 45 minutes of the game and had 12 saves, four goals allowed, seven ground balls and two caused turnovers. RYAN MORGAN and PARKER CHEATHAM closed out the final 15 in cage.
DEZMOND STOLLINGS and CHRIS PANNENBACKER had six ground balls apiece while Pannenbacker went 10-for-16 at the faceoff dot.

-- The Saints got two goals from Drew Chant who also snagged a pair of groundballs.
-- Nicholas Bontempo, Wes Spanuolo and Ryan Castle also added goals for EC while Ezra Cox registered a pair of assists.
-- First year goalie Randy Castle made 19 saves over 52+ minutes of action before giving way to Aric Graves who made two saves over the final 7:29 of regulation.

-- Piedmont led 4-0 after the first quarter and 9-0 at halftime.
