LAUZIER, BAGLIVI, MACLEAN-DALEY RECEIVE GNAC WEEKLY HONORS
BOSTON, Mass. – Three members of the Emmanuel Men’s Lacrosse Team were recognized with Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) honors this week after leading the Saints to crucial conference wins over Norwich University and Becker College last week. The pair of victories helped the Saints to remain unbeaten at 8-0 and in a tie for first place in the conference standings, as we enter the final week of regular season action.

The pair of victories helped the Saints to remain unbeaten at 8-0 and in a tie for first place in the conference standings, as we enter the final week of regular season action.
Sophomore goalie Austin Lauzier (Bedford, N.H.) was named the GNAC Goalie of the Week for the second-consecutive week. Lauzier registered a .682 save percentage on the week. He came up huge against the defending GNAC Champion Cadets of Norwich University on April 9th, making 9 saves and allowing just one goal in an impressive 7-1 victory. On April 12th, Lauzier was stellar in net again, posting 6 saves in a 12-6 win over Becker. The sophomore captain also recorded six groundballs on the week.
Freshman defenseman Chris Baglivi (Mattituck, N.Y.) was voted the GNAC Rookie of the Week after powering the Saints in a solid defensive showing over his two games last week. Baglivi helped EC allow just 7 goals (3.5 goals allowed per game) on the week, holding the 2013 GNAC Champions to just one goal in the 7-1 Emmanuel victory over Norwich. Baglivi and the Saints' defense killed all 11 extra-man opportunities by their opponents. The rookie also collected 9 groundballs and caused 7 turnovers in his two games last week.
Sophomore Kaile MacLean-Daley (Moretown, Vt.) was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for the second-straight week. MacLean-Daley tallied a goal and an assist versus Norwich, before netting a hat trick in the Saints' win over Becker. He also tallied 4 groundballs on the week. The sophomore attack currently leads EC in scoring with 24 goals in 2014.
