AS A FRESHMAN ... Started 13 contests for the Saints, appearing in a total of 15 games during the program's inaugural season ... Made collegiate debut with a start against Cazenovia on March 4, registering his first collegiate point to go along with a season-high five groundballs in the 9-5 loss ... Posted a season-high two assists in a 15-3 victory against University of Maine-Farmington on March 19 ... On March 26, scored first collegiate goal to go along with an assist in the program's first-ever shutout in a 14-0 victory over Wheelock College ... Led the team causing 32 turnovers on the year to go along with 36 groundballs which ranked third ... Finished the year with six points on two goals and four assists.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Lawson was a two-sport athlete at Suffern High School in New York...played both football and lacrosse for three years...started on his football teams for two years and on his lacrosse team all three years...led his team in ground balls as a senior...was named All-County, All-League and All-Section Honorable Mention...was invited to play in the Section I All-Star game.
