WENWORTH TOPS EC SAINTS INVITE FIELD
HYDE PARK, Mass. – Senior Paul Arsenault (Middleton, Mass.) carded a 77 for to lead the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's golf team to a team score of 320 to top the field at the Emmanuel College Saints Invite played at the par 70 George Wright Golf Course. Suffolk University wasn't far off the pace with a team score of 328 to finish second while Mitchell College combined for a 340 for a third place finish. Host Emmanuel College rounded out the field with a 375.

Arsenault shared medalist honors with Suffolk sophomore Ethan Abitz (Jaffrey, N.H.) as both players fired 77's. WIT junior Brian Bak (South Hadley, Mass.) was one off the pace with a 78 to help the Leopards to the team victory.
Mitchell sophomore Michael Izzo (Hamden, Conn.) paced the Mariners with a team-low round of an 81, shooting a 39 on the front and a 42 on the back.
For Emmanuel, junior Anthony Springthorpe (Swampscott, Mass.) shot a career-low round of 83 to lead the way while senior Colin Cordero (Bolton, Conn.) carded an 87. Junior Brian Daly (Burlington, Mass.) posted a 92 while freshman Jacson Mooers (Lincolnville, Maine) made his collegiate debut carding a 113.
Emmanuel is back in action next week when they host the Emmanuel Invitational at William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park on Wednesday, September 20.
