AS A SOPHOMORE...

• Appeared in three matches for the Saints in his second season.
• on September 14, Springthorpe shot a then record low 86 at William J. Devine Golf Course in his season debut.
• Springthorpe continued his hot 2016 start by breaking his low round score again in his next appearance where he posted an 84 at the Westfield State Invitational. Springthorpe's 84 was also good for the low round for the Saints on the day.

• Appeared in three matches
• Made collegiate debut on Oct. 7 at George Wright Golf Club in Hyde Park, Mass. shooting a 94 and helping the Saints capture first place with a team total of 351
• Fired an 89 at the Westfield State Invitational on Oct. 8 at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass.
• Qualified for the GNAC Championship meet, shooting a season-best 88 on day one action en route to posting a two-day total of 179 to lift Emmanuel to a sixth place finish for its highest standing in the program’s history 

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

• Springthorpe was a four-year member of the Swampscott High School varsity golf team 
• Served as the team's captain during his junior and senior seasons
• Was named an NEC All-Star, Team MVP, and a Salem News All-Star
• Made it to the Division Three State Tournament.
