AS A JUNIOR ... Named a co-captain for the 2014 campaign, Pocobene continued his steady play at the top of the Saints lineup, appearing in seven matches and carding the low team round five times ... Pocobene opened the year with a team-best 82 on September 11 at Putterham Meadows Golf Course and followed it up with a career-low and program-record 74 at Shennecossett Golf Course in Gronton, Conn. on September 17 ... The junior fired off back-to-back 78's during weekend play at the University of Southern Maine's Fall Classic and rounded out the year with back-to-back 77's at the GNAC Championship at Ponkapoag Golf Course ... Named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll twice during the reporting weeks of 9/15/14 and 9/22/14 ... Named the team's Most Valubable Player at the end of the year Athletic Banquet.

AS A SOPHOMORE ... Pocobene was stellar in his second consecutive season with the Saints ... competed in seven matches, including playing in a trio of two-day events ... carded his season-low score of 75 on October 7th in day two of the University of Southern Maine's Fall Classic ... shot in the 70s on three additional occasions during the season ... was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on September 16th, after shooting a 78 in the Saints' opening tri-match versus Newbury College and Mitchell College at Putterham Meadows Golf Course on September 12th.

AS A FRESHMAN ... Pocobene enjoyed a phenomenol rookie season, competing in all seven of Emmanuel's matches during the 2012 season ... was the Saints' low scorer four times and carded Emmanuel's second individual low score three times ... shot his season low on October 3rd with a 77 at William J. Devine Golf Course in a quad-match with Suffolk, Elms and Daniel Webster ... carded rounds in the 70's five other times, including consecutive rounds of 79 and 78 in the two-day University of Southern Maine Fall Classic on October 7th and 8th at Gorham Country Club ... received Emmanuel's Most Valuable Player award at the 2013 Athletic Awards Night on April 27th ... was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship team for Men's Golf ... spent the summer of 2013 working as a caddy at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass.
