LEVESQUE NAMED GNAC GOLF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Emmanuel College Freshman P.J. Levesque opened his collegiate golf career in fine fashion. Levesque led the Saints with an individual low score of 75 last Thursday and was subsequently named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golf Rookie of the Week.

The Norton, Mass. native carded a 39 on the front nine and a 36 on the back to finish just one stroke off the lead at Newbury College's quad-match played at Putterham Meadows (par 71) in Brookline on Thursday afternoon.
Levesque's individual low of 75 helped lead the Saints to the program's all-time team low score, 325. Emmanuel finished just two strokes behind Newbury to come in second on the day.
Levesque and the Saints will be back on the course this coming Thursday, September 20th, when they host their first home match of the season. Emmanuel will host a quad-match with Newbury College, Daniel Webster College and Suffolk University at William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park. Tee time is slated for 12:00 PM.
