AS A JUNIOR...Armstrong competed in his third year as a three-sport athlete at Emmanuel...consistently finished in the top two for the Saints' Men's Cross Country Team...kicked off the season with a personal best 5k in Emmanuel's opening dual-meet at the Fens, running 17:07.10...ran his personal best 5-miler at Massachusetts Maritime Academy's Travis Fuller Invitational on September 10th with a time of 26:48, placing 3rd overall and helping the Saints to a team win...helped lead the 2010 squad to a 2nd place finish in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship...named the team's Unsung Hero and received the Emmanuel Men's Cross Country Academic Achievement Award in 2010...named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team...served as the Saints' team captain for the second-straight year... named the team's captain again for the 2011 season.

AS A SOPHOMORE...Armstrong captained the team...was Emmanuel's top finisher throughout the season...was named the GNAC Runner of the Week on 9/12/09...was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 9/28/09...named GNAC All-Conference after finishing in the top ten at the GNAC Championship Meet at Rivier College... helped the Saints to a 4th place team finish in the GNAC Championship...also competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field for the Saints.

AS A FRESHMAN...Armstrong was the Emmanuel Men's Cross Country Team's top runner throughout his rookie season...kicked off his collegiate career by setting a new program-record at Massachusetts Maritime Academy's Travis Fuller Invitational with a time of 27:06...was subsequently named the GNAC's Performer of the Week on 9/15/08...ran 1st for the Saints at the GNAC Championship with a time of 29:22, leading Emmanuel to a 5th place team finish...voted Emmanuel's MVP as a rookie...also competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field for the Saints.
